At the March Board meeting, the Board approved Kyle Schoeller as the new Head Band Director for The Pride of Heritage. A Rogers native, Mr. Schoeller graduated from Rogers High School in 2001, and earned his Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of Arkansas in 2006. With 17 years of experience in Rogers Public Schools, Mr. Schoeller has dedicated much of his career to music education, serving in various roles across the district.
Mr. Schoeller’s passion for band education comes full circle as he returns to Heritage High School, where he previously served as Assistant Band Director from 2012 to 2017. During this time, he helped shape the program that remains close to his heart. He is committed to investing in the talented students of the Pride of Heritage Band and continuing the tradition of excellence that has defined the program since 2008.
Outside of music, Mr. Schoeller shares a deep connection with the community. He met his wife in the 9th grade band at Elmwood Junior High, and they have been married for over 20 years. Together, they have three children and a hamster named Squeakers. As a family, they look forward to supporting the War Eagles and growing the program.
Mr. Schoeller is honored and excited to take on this new role and lead the band program at Heritage High School, where his journey began and his passion for music education continues. This is the next chapter for The Pride of Heritage and we welcome the new conductor!
