Rockwell City / Lytton Class Of '88' Reunion

15 of 43 arrived for the 35th class reunion and it was absolutely wonderful to see them all. We golfed, toured the museum (had to see our old Jr. High shuttle hurdle record) toured the historic depot, rode in the parade (thank you Tim, Jana and Jasmyn for organizing), drove by my old house, visited the cemetary. Tim left before the group pic and Mike is hiding behind Travis, but we had a blast seeing them and everyone who came back for it. PLUS got to see so many friends from other classes and their parents!! Rain, wind, humidity...we still had a ball! Stay safe everyone. See you at the 40th!

Looks like the Class of 1988 has thrown a float together for the parade Saturday Morning, if your interested be at our old high school 830a.m. Saturday August 5th . Now if we can get ahold of that chambers wildcat mascot to ride along we will be golden!!

OK I was notified the RC Chamber has a Wildcat Mascot and was offering it to ride in our float if we had one . Well we don't as far as I know ? Nor do I have the truck or a hay wagon to do one but was throwing out there if any of yall are interested . I did tell them i would try to show up to represent the class of 88' & would love to see any of you there!!

OK guys we the Class of 1988 were lucky also thankful to be invited to join the Class of 1978 Réunion hosted by Mike & Julie Lynch at Lynchs Bar (336 Main St Rockwell City, IA). Due to Sweet Corn Days events we were lucky & very grateful to share their space , fun , and a decade of alumni together !!
So looks like we crash and hope to see you all there..........

Looks like we are going to plan on Saturday August 5 , 2023 for the RC Class of 88' class reunion ! ( actual address , updates & details to come)
SPREAD THE WORD , SAVE THE DATE TO COME BACK HOME AGAIN !!!
Rockwell City has Sweetcorn Days that weekend , many classes get together , & there are events and fun things going on , making it the perfect weekend to plan a trip home , have some fun, see friends , plus actually have things to do past 10pm or most the time.. LoL funny but sadly true & now one less excuse ya'll can use not to come this time ??!!

I just had to Share this with all of you. This display is called the WALL OF KINDNESS...it is in Sweden....people can hang up their old coats or buy new ones...and it says "take a jacket if you're in need"
Every large city in the US, or small community...should have one of these....

It is with a heavy heart to let y'all know we lost one of our classmates last night . Unfortunately Rick Junkman lost his battle with cancer. Rick will be missed, in our thoughts & prayers along with Larry , Becky , all his family and many friends he touch along his journey.
