July Foundation Focus: RFISD Mentor Program

Mentoring is not about having all the answers. It is about showing up, building trust, and helping students feel supported throughout the school year.

This year, mentors will have new folders with goal-setting sheets, conversation cards, progress check-ins, career goal prompts, and tools that align with district priorities. These resources are designed to help each visit feel meaningful, focused, and encouraging.

RFEF is proud to help fund these tools so RFISD mentors feel prepared and students receive consistent support.

When mentors are equipped, students benefit.

June Foundation Focus: Teacher Grants

Summer may be here, but that does not mean the ideas have stopped.

Our teachers are already thinking ahead, planning for their students, and finding new ways to make learning meaningful in the school year to come.

This year, Grant Patrol was able to surprise RFISD teachers with around $37,000 in Teacher Grants to help bring creative classroom ideas to life. These grants support hands-on learning, innovative projects, and opportunities that help students connect, grow, and succeed.

We are so thankful for the educators who continue to think beyond the basics and dream up new ways to serve their students.
