Happy 20th Anniversary to the Rockford Spanish Immersion program! 🌎🎉

To celebrate this amazing 20-year milestone, they held a special writing contest for our students. We are so excited to share that the winning entries have been published in a commemorative book, filled with stories, photos, and memories from the past two decades.

We even have a Principal for the Morning and your own parking spot for all of next school year in the Roguewood parking lot (front and center, no more showing up 15 early for dismissal!)

The past month has been exciting for Spanish Immersion!

We had bridge ceremony(el puente) for kinder and first. So proud of all those kiddos for making the promise to speak in Spanish to peers and teachers. We even had older SI kids come to cheer on their younger buddies.

We had our one of a kind 20th anniversary merch available and is now ready to go home with students this week Wednesday. If you ordered, be on the lookout Wednesday!

Plus we had requests from teachers for incentives, trainings, and classroom materials that we could vote on and approve thanks to fundraising money!

Coming up will be our online auction for fun outings with our amazing teachers. Plus, we have an opening if you are ready to help us in more exciting things like these in the future!
