Two of our Model UN leaders attended Best Delegate in Boston this week. They officially graduated from the program. We are so proud of their hard work and cannot wait to see them bring back their knowledge to the team this year!

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT!!!
Valeria went on a Voyageur Outward Bound School trip when she was in 7th grade at Galapagos. This means that she became an Outward Bound Alumni and was given the opportunity for more trips going into high school. This summer, Valeria went on a 30 day course experience! Her instructors were so impressed with her leadership during the entire trip (while also being the youngest one!). She wrote that the reason she wanted to go was because "I just wanted to try something new and difficult"- displaying grit, drive, and growth mindset the entire time. We are so incredibly proud of Valeria for stepping outside of her comfort zone and challenging herself. The picture below is of Valeria rock climbing at Knife Lake in the Boundary Waters.
