Sexuality and Gender Alliance at RU

Hello all! My name is Taylor and I am the president of SAGA at Rockford University. We recently attended MBLGTACC, a gay conference for short. Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) is hosting an informational conference for the local LGBTQIA+ community as well as providing free dinner and a PG drag workshop. We are reaching out to schools in the area to invite local Gay Student Alliances or q***r students and ally's to attend our event. Our conference will be Friday, December 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. We would love the information for any local GSA's or even if anyone is interested in attending, we just need to know by Thanksgiving! SAGA is super excited to present this mini conference and bring people of all walks of life together to learn on our campus. Tomorrow! Come on out to Burpee Upstairs Hallway for some free food, drinks, and diy bucket/baseball hats, bead bracelets and keychains, and assorted other crafts to help SAGA celebrate Coming Out Day! Also, there will be trivia and one random winner will be selected from all participants!!

Welcome back Regents!! SAGA will be meeting for the first time this semester in a new location, FISCHER CHAPEL on September 2nd at 3! If you have questions, come see us at the activity fair Wednesday August 31st 2-4 PM.
