On March 11, 2025, voters in Rockaway Township will vote on a 96-million-dollar referendum to address construction needs on the public schools.
Taxpayers will be assessed an additional tax to support these improvements. Based on a typical house price in Rockaway, your taxes will increase between $400-$500 per year. This tax will last for the life of the bond, which is 30 years. Therefore, residents will pay approximately $15,000 in total for the changes.
