Last day of school is so hard sometimes. Friends going their own way for the summer, news schools for some, different teachers coming soon, and so many other changes. One things is for sure and never changes. The memories we make, the hard work that everyone puts in( staff, parents, volunteers, and businesses), and all the smiles we see on the last day of school with all the fun we do.
The PTO at Desert View Elementary School want to say Thank you to the staff, for shaping and growing the minds of all the students, to the parents and volunteers who helped bring ideas and fun to life for family nights and school events, and to Mountain States Pressure Service, Inc. for donating your BBQ trailer for us to cook for everyone on the last day.

📚✏️ Reminder for Parents of Incoming Kindergarten Students! ✏️📚
Sweetwater County School District #1’s 2026-2027 Kindergarten Round Up is happening this Friday, May 15 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM at your child’s home school!
This is a great opportunity for incoming kindergarten students and families to:
✅ Complete academic screening
✅ Meet teachers and staff
✅ Help us learn more about your child before the school year begins
Please remember to bring the following items if you have not already provided them:
• Birth certificate
• Immunization records
• Two proofs of physical address (utility bill, etc.)

• Desert View Elementary
• Walnut Elementary
• Sage Elementary
• Northpark Elementary (temporarily at 3501 Dewar Dr.)
• Stagecoach Elementary
If your child has not yet been registered, please complete registration before Round Up by visiting the district website and selecting the New Student Registration link.
