Hello everyone! As you may know by now, I am hosting a full day workshop with Pete Bowers here in Mattapoisett, MA on October 17. I am interested in having a few raffle prizes for participants!

I know we have great SWI t-shirts that someone sells. Any other suggestions for great affordable items that I can purchase for prizes?

We are up to 37 participants and will be closing registration once we are at approximately 45 attending. The space CAN hold many more, but we want to avoid too large a group, or it will become less personalized. If you are interested in coming, here is the link.

If you are already attending, stay tuned. I will be sending along a lunch menu from a local caterer. I can take orders for lunch and it will be delivered to the event. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch. Since lunch isn't included in the workshop rate, I will collect money in the morning to pay for it.

Sometimes OG alone is not the answer. Weaknesses in memory make retaining phoneme-grapheme correlations extremely challenging. When we use morphology, word sums, and lead with meaning, children feel incredible relief and begin to enjoy learning.

“Linguistic” phonics is the name that has been chosen for the speech-to-print methodology. Linguistics is the study of language, but OG and “linguistic” phonics both prioritize teaching grapheme-phoneme correspondence over meaning. Oh man. The fall is coming and the tutoring calendar is already booking up. If you are a client during the school year, please let us know if you are continuing in the fall. New summer clients will be scheduled into the calendar next week. It has been a busy summer with lots of new students con board, so save your time slot now.

I am also able to tutor during the school day and work with homeschoolers!

We just received this inquiry in our email from someone trying to place these 2 cats in a home together due to an unforeseen circumstance with her parents.

Please call or text the number on this flyer for any inquiries or questions as the animals are NOT under the shelters direct care but we are just trying to help with finding the right homes for them!!

Spelling-Out and Tapping -Out are powerful tools for engaging motor, auditory, and working memories simultaneously. While we each use it in our practices a little differently, we all see incredible growth in our students.
