So instead of long drawn out work over grammar today, we had the following conversations:

We had an entire conversation and only questions, then in only commands, then and only statements, then and only exclamations.

Then we practiced using the who, what, where, when, why and how words and in what context they would be used.

Then we listed nouns and verbs together.

He then drew a little picture in his main lesson book of people using the question words in trying to solve where a party is going to be, and this all of his own creation, and then I sent him on his way.

This is education that is meaningful, open-ended, child-led, creative, Waldorf inspired, and ultimately enjoyable.

No sentence is complete without a subject and a verb.

And finding the subject and the verb of the sentence is the first step to deciphering the rest of the sentence.

Sprouting Seeds Languages Arts is a comprehensive homeschool Language Arts program that includes thorough grammar instruction, writing and vocabulary practice, and weekly poetry appreciation. We also use main lesson books in our classes which allows each student to respond to their lessons in a way that is unique to them.

We meet online in a small group setting of 2-4 students. Classes are twice a week for one hour at a time. The cost is a sliding scale from $25-$40 per week.
