Giving a hand UP, one hand at a time; one neighborhood at a time. Thank you for your interest in The Barnabas Approach. To be encouraging. To be a ladder.
I would like to both welcome and thank you for liking and keeping updated with our page. First, permit me to introduce to you who we are and why we exist. In the Bible, Barnabas is known as the "Son of Encouragement". We also like to see him as the "product" or "the end result" of encouragement. He was a man that while others saw a problem, he saw potential. We are looking to inspire others with
the Barnabas approach. To lift others up. Encouragers are individuals who are both active and observant. We believe that
action is the bridge between a dream and a dream come true. Far too many
individuals have been convinced that not only can they not do it but even worse that they do not live in a society set up for them to succeed. We at the Barnabas Approach reject that lie and hope to not only inspire, but also to edify others into a "Yes I can and together we will figure out how" mentality. Like Barnabas, we are active and observant. We seek opportunity within problems. While we are here for all, we will have an emphasis on our youth. Financial classes have already started through The Frederick Douglass Foundation of New York and our founder, David Browne is the presenter. All are welcome. If interested let us know. Also, since this is a page of encouragement and inspiration we reserve the right to delete any comments, posts, etc that we view as negative. We are here to encourage and edify (2 Christian responsibilities) and anything less will not be tolerated. Thank You and welcome to our page.
