Created by friends & family when Abraham Lincoln was President, carried across the Oregon Trail in 1863, an 1860's era family quilt ended its journey here in Rochester, rescued 130 years after its creation by Donna Weaver Smith & is on display next week at the Southwest Washington Fair August 12-17, 2025. See it in the Community Building just before the carnival rides.

Some of the 1950's Rochester Improvement Club records were delivered today.. not many left who remember them installing hanging street lights, nor the JE McCleary field at the high school that burned down..
