Updating the FB page!

The first affordable books mass marketed to women went out to retailers at the turn of the last century. Some of them were dreadful, but quite a number of them had great merit as they catalogued the experiences and aspirations of women in the English-speaking world. Jane Austen would not disapprove of the end result!

Many of the books are also beautiful objects in their own right. We have a catalogue of these very collectible and fun books which we hope to make available to "chick lit" fans everywhere.
