The PTSA goals are to foster cooperation between parents and teachers to improve children's education and welfare, acting as a bridge between home and school to create a better learning environment. PTSAs achieve this by encouraging parental involvement, organizing fundraisers for school resources, providing a forum for communication on school issues, and advocating for students' needs at the school and community levels

Fire Prevention Week is October 4–10!

This year’s theme, “Charge Into Fire Safety. Safe Charging Is a Superpower!” highlights how everyday charging habits can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires.

Rochester Fire Department invites the community to visit any Rochester fire station during its Fire Prevention Week open houses:

• Tuesday, October 6
• 5:30–7:30 p.m.
• All Rochester fire stations

Come meet RFD firefighters, visit your neighborhood station and learn more about keeping your home and community safe.
