It will be a beautiful night for Music in Mantorville tomorrow night! I hope some friends will join me for "Art and Sign Language" under the shelter at the Mantorville Minnesota Farmers Market!! We can make BUG slap bracelets!! This is one of the activities my pre-K group was doing in the KTTC news segment on Midwest Access last Thursday. If you want to make a bug bracelet (or come out to listen to Clay Fulton - The Bugle Boys - one of my favorites!), stop by Mantorville park tomorrow between 5:00 and 7:30!! 🤟

Sign Language Saturday is coming to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival on September 12. We're excited to welcome the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community for a day featuring ASL-interpreted performances throughout the Festival.

Rochester Farmers Market tomorrow!! Bring your kids and stop by to say hello, then stay for a sticker-dot craft! If you have an infant/toddler too small for the activity, ask me for some free flashcards in a flipbook🤟😊 I will be there from 8:00-noon at the "Health and Wellness Event" in Graham Park.

Circle of Friends has a very busy week this week! We have TWO craft/activity vendor table events, and ONE Sign Language Story Time!! Bring your children, please😊
--Tomorrow (June 18) 3:00-6:00pm at Pine Island Farmers Market
--Saturday (June 20) 8:00-noon at Rochester Farmers Market
--Sunday (June 21) 11:30-noon Sign Language Story Time at SPARK

Free resources are always available, and an art activity is available at the farmer's markets.

BRAVO to Rochester Public Schools for bringing back the high school ASL program for the 2026-27 school year! Even more than that, thank you for including the Deaf Community in discussions during the process! I am happy to have been invited to the discussion yesterday evening, along with Deaf community members, parents of Deaf children, ASL interpreters, and others. I am very excited about this opportunity to spread ASL throughout the Rochester Area!! 🤟👏
