We also partner with WIOA- Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Service Providers, such as WADI and CEFS, that can provide you with job opportunities in the area. Congratulations to Tony Contrill for completing the requirements to receive an Illinois High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma using the Alternative Method of Credentialing (AMOC)! Tony worked with Danyelle Ayres, an Adult Education Instructor at Lincoln Trail College to make sure everything was completed.

Joanna Miller is the first Illinois Eastern Community College Adult Education student to complete her High School Equivalency (HSE) using the Alternative Method of Credentialing (AMOC), through the Regional Office of Education #12. Joanna had completed at least 13.5 credits of high school coursework in the 90’s and later enrolled in Lincoln Trail College’s Adult Education program, Joanna was also able to enroll in IECC’s ICAPS (Integrated Career and Academic Preparation System) at LTC during which she completed her Welding Certificate. Danyelle Ayres, IECC LTC Adult Education Instructor and Support Staff, stated “this is a big moment for students across our district,” and she is so proud of Joanna for paving the way for more students like her who are persistent, dedicated to success, and ready to complete his or her HSE. Danyelle encourages any student needing their HSE to reach out to the IECC Adult Education Program.
