We were honored to welcome Secretary of Labor Jessica Looman to The Excel Center on her first trip to Roanoke.
On her visit, she was eager to see the work we are doing here firsthand and learn more about how it aligns with Virginia's workforce priorities. During her tour, we highlighted how The Excel Center serves as a workforce pathway for Virginians, helping adults earn their high school diploma, build workforce skills, and support the state's workforce and economic development goals.
Thank you again, Secretary Looman, for supporting our mission and helping us strengthen the local workforce through the achievements of our learners.
