Today Pre-k3 started learning about MAT MAN!
MAT MAN helps us build a pre- writing foundation. It teaches us simple lines, curves, and shapes (big lines, little lines, big curves, little curves) that directly translate to forming capital letters and numbers.

🍎Apple Day🍏

It has been a full week of apple activities in Pre-K 1. The children have enjoyed it! On Wednesday, we made patterns with apple candy. On Thursday, we balanced apples on our heads and had a scavenger hunt. Today, we made applesauce and made apple volcanoes.

This week in Pre-k 1 we are talking about apples. Each day we have tried something with apples. Monday-the children tried a piece of a red, yellow, and green apple and decided which one they liked best then graphed it. Tuesday-the children sorted Apple Jacks then got to eat the yummy snack. It’s been a fun two days so far.
