Our final camp week finished up on Thursday. Once again, thank you to everyone who was involved: players, parents, rink staff, and coaches. The coaches had an awesome time working with these young players this Summer. We hope that we taught, developed, and inspired them to be better hockey players and more importantly, better people. Iron Track will be offering even more in the future, so stay tuned for the latest! Best of luck to all of our players this upcoming season!!!

🚨NEW COACH ALERT!!!🚨 Iron Track has added another Dawg to the coaching staff for our final week of camp! We are pleased to introduce coach Corey Doney. Coach Doney has played for the Dawgs the past two seasons and brings great energy and passion for the game. An excellent skater, he has a mastery of stride mechanics along with great knowledge of the game to share with our group. The Iron Track Development team is pleased to welcome Bryce Martin to the coaching staff for Week 2!! The Canadian defenseman has been a fan favorite among the Rail Yard Dawgs faithful since his first game with the Dawgs in 2020! Bryce brings veteran leadership to our team with tons of experience at the blue line. Welcome Coach Bryce!!!

This Swedish stud has suited up for the Rail Yard Dawgs the past two seasons, and boasts NCAA D1, ECHL, and SPHL professional experience. Goose brings a unique international lens to our development team, adding even more value to the Iron Track Development System. Welcome Coach Goose!

Up next on our coach spotlight is none other than Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Captain Matt O’Dea! Matty has been involved with youth hockey in Roanoke for the entirety of his career with the Dawgs. A proven winner, Matty brings experience and exceptional leadership on and off the ice. He will be coaching all 3 weeks of camp!
