I was told by the city clerk in mid November, qualifying was from 11/27-12/14 and that I would receive a package; on the 12/11 at 12:30 I learned via a phone call, that qualifying was today. I got off the phone to make the deadline and learned I had missed the deadline by 30 minutes and there was nothing that can be done. In addition, apparently all the potential candidates got a package in the mail except me to tell them of the correct date. Therefore, I didn’t make qualifications.

I have walked the street of this city and knocked on over 3,000 doors, met the most amazing residents. I am extremely sorry to the resident and supporter that I didn’t have the opportunity to see this through. My sincere goal was and still is to help this City of Riviera Beach that we all love. I wish all the candidates the very best and my hope is that they do right by the people and the city for future generations.
