Drake Lassiter had a few lessons in the round pen and arena the past couple of months and today was the big day to put all those skills together and go on a trail ride with his mom, Gail Cash, and me, Debbie Kister. We enjoyed the tranquility of riding next to the canal and the scenery along the way.

Over the river and through the willows, Heather Buchanan led the way to fun ride sometimes on a trail and sometimes blazing a trail. Shaun TOMASELLI brought yummy sandwiches for lunch and I guided the ride to a hideout cave that my friends and I found 45 years ago.
