Today May 1st is Agriculture Day….Teaching children about the importance of agriculture helps them understand where their food comes from and builds appreciation for the hard work of farmers and the resources required to feed the world.

A Promise Fulfilled: The Alley Primary School Adventure Park

We still have more work ahead, but we’re thrilled to share the incredible progress we’ve made on the Alley Primary playground project!

In October 2024, the Monrovia Foundation, alongside dedicated past students of Alley Primary, united with a mission: to create a safe and joyful play space for the children. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, fundraising efforts took off, and by late December, groundwork for the playground began.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Richards, the school’s principal, whose unwavering dedication kept the project moving forward. She was not just an advocate but an active participant—often on-site, ensuring every detail met the highest standards for the children’s enjoyment.

Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—these heartwarming photos capture the children playing in their brand-new playground for the very first time, even before the grand opening celebration with parents and school administrators.
