At Schoolhouse Daycare, we provide a warm, nurturing and home-like environment where children feel safe, loved and free to grow at their own pace. Our mission is to create a cozy and welcoming space where little ones are encouraged to explore, build confidence and develop a love for learning through play, relationships, and meaningful routines. Our journey began in 2015 with a small in-home daycar

e license, rooted in a lifelong passion for working with children. Before opening our doors, I spent three years as a nanny and taught Sunday school classes on the weekends—experiences that deepened my love for teaching and caring for young children. I later became an infant teacher at a local daycare center and also taught a Pre-K class for 3 years at The Grove Preschool. These roles helped shape the foundation of what would become our unique approach to childcare. As our little daycare grew, so did the need for more space. We transitioned from a small license to a large in-home license, and eventually expanded even further by opening a second large licensed in-home daycare out of my mom’s home just across the street. From the beginning, our vision has always been to grow into a daycare center that still feels like home. Having worked in both home-based and center-based settings, I’ve learned firsthand what families and staff value most in each environment. Our goal is to combine the warmth and personal connection of an in-home daycare with the structure and resources of a high-quality center. We’re proud to bring the best of both worlds to our community.

We’re looking for a dependable, loving and nurturing teacher to join our team working with infants and toddlers!

Schedule options: Monday–Friday (8-hour days) OR Tuesday–Friday (10-hour days)

We’re looking for someone who: truly enjoys working with infants & toddlers • is patient and nurturing • communicates well with parents • is reliable and punctual • works well with a team

Minimum Requirements
• 12 Early childhood education units including Infant/Toddler
OR at least 6 ECE units completed and currently enrolled in 6 additional units
• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass background check & fingerprint clearance
• Current CPR & First Aid certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• TB clearance
• Physically able to lift 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and remain active throughout the day

Over 10 years ago, Schoolhouse Daycare began in my home as a small in-home daycare that grew into a dream. With lots of love, hard work and the support of our amazing community, that dream has grown beyond what I imagined.

Today, as we stood outside of our building for our ribbon cutting ceremony, I was filled with so much gratitude and excitement, not just for what we’ve built, but for what’s ahead!

My vision for Schoolhouse Daycare has always been more than just teaching ABCs and 123s. It’s about helping kiddos build confidence, curiosity, compassion for others and a love of learning.

Here’s to the next chapter! To growth, learning and a brighter future for our kiddos✨
