Tuesday, April 1st is our Family Literacy Night. Stop by several literacy stations and participate in fun reading activities. You can visit the library and meet two local authors or have fun with our Legos and literacy station. Pizza and snacks will be provided to those who RSVP and each student will get a free grade-level book! Hope to see you there! ***RSVP on Parent Square.

El martes 1 de abril es nuestra Noche de Alfabetización Familiar. Visita las diferentes estaciones de alfabetización y participa en divertidas actividades de lectura. Puedes visitar la biblioteca y conocer a dos autores locales o divertirte con nuestra estación de Legos y alfabetización. We have had some pretty Magnificent Mustangs these past two weeks! Our first is one of our fabulous 5th-grade teachers, Mrs. Danco. Mrs. Danco was nominated for her dedication to students and her continuous support of our supervisors. She also supports the afterschool Little Bigs Program and is an excellent team leader!

Our next Magnificent Mustang is Mrs. Heston! Mrs. Heston is also one of our amazing 5th-grade teachers. Mrs. Heston goes above and beyond to plan creative and engaging lessons for her students. She is extremely kind and helpful to her team and other staff.
Thank you both for being MAGNIFICENT!

We have had a couple of amazing Staff Magnificent Mustangs in the past two weeks! Our first staff Magnificent Mustang is Mr. David our evening custodian. Mr. David is always so kind and helpful. He works quickly and does his best to keep our classrooms clean and tidy. He never complains about his work. We are so thankful for Mr. David! Thank you for being Magnificent!

Our recent Magnificent Mustang is Ms. April, one of our awesome noon duty supervisors. Ms. April is kind, considerate, and always helpful. She goes out of her way to assist students and staff during the school day and at HEARTS. Thank you again, for being Magnificent!

This past week was Counselor’s Week and we are extremely appreciative to have our school counselor Mr. Cuadras. Mr. C, as the students call him, provides necessary social-emotional support and life skills to our students. He collaborates with our staff daily to meet the needs of students and provides a safe space for them to express their concerns. We are so thankful for your knowledge and support Mr. Cuadras!

Our Staff Magnificent Mustang for this week is one of our excellent TK teachers Ms. Setlik. Ms. Setlik is extremely patient and positive with students and staff. She is also innovative when creating learning opportunities for students. She is not only helpful to her team but is always willing to support our school’s needs. Thank you for being Magnificent Ms. Setlik!
