Taft Elementary School serves approximately 750 students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade including both a primary and upper grade Special Day Class. Taft has a diverse student population and teachers and students work daily toward high levels of learning for every Taft student.

How can the first day of school be only 2 weeks away? Get yourself and your students ready for the new school year with our upcoming back to school events. 🐾 🐯

The annual Class List party kicks things off on Thursday August 7th! Find out who your teachers are before they drops on Aeries. New spirit wear will be available for purchase and you can find out more about our PTA. We will also have special treats for all students.

On Friday August 8th we will be on campus welcoming the new Taft families at TK / Kinder orientation.

Our first Association Meeting of the year will be on August 14th at Back to School Night. Meet the PTA Board for the 2025 / 2026 school year and purchase spirit wear for the new school year.

We can't wait to welcome you all back to school next month!
