UC Riverside Biology Department The UC Riverside Biology Department conducts research, teaching, and service in many areas of the life sciences. http://www.biologyoutreach.ucr.edu/

The UCR Department of Biology serves three main functions:

Undergraduate instruction
Graduate education
Research in basic biology

The Department is part of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, a multidepartmental unit dedicated to instruction and basic research in the Physical and Life Sciences, and also to 'mission-oriented' applied research in the Agricultural Sciences. Our gradua

te students and faculty are actively involved in cutting-edge research and community outreach events! Our goal is to share achievements of faculty and students in Biology and facilitate communication with alumni.
