At Scholarship Prep Riverside, Scholars don’t just learn about STEM… they build it, test it, and perfect it. 🔬🧪
Every Friday is dedicated to hands-on STEM work: asking big questions, designing creative solutions, and experimenting with ideas that don’t always work the first time (or the second!). 🚀🪐
Last week’s STEM Open House gave families a window into that process. Scholars led demonstrations, explained their prototypes, and walked parents through their engineering thinking with the kind of confidence that comes from actually doing the work. They weren’t just presenting; they were teaching! 🛠️🤖
This is learning in action at Scholarship Prep, and we love it when our families join us on campus to experience it firsthand.

🏆 Riverside, we feel the love! 🏆
Scholarship Prep Riverside has been named the First Place winner of the 2026 Exterior Remodel and Reconstruction Award by Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB).
This facility was completely reimagined to become a tuition-free TK–8 public charter school serving Riverside families and the surrounding communities. In our first year, our small school has been embraced in a big way!
But what makes us proud is not just how it looks. It’s what’s happening inside.
Students growing in confidence. Teachers who know every child by name. Strong academics. Arts. Athletics. Real relationships.
To the families who chose to start this journey with us in our very first year, thank you. You helped bring this school to life.
👏 With gratitude to our city leaders and partners who helped make this transformation possible: Blackwell Development, Red Hook Capital, Studio W Architects, Brian Peterson, City of Riverside - Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson, Ward 5 Councilmember Sean Mill, Riverside County Office of Education, Arlington Business Partnership and Executive Director, Oz Puerta, City of Riverside, CA - City Government, Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce

Recess just got an upgrade at Scholarship Prep Riverside. Our new elementary playground is officially open, and our Scholars wasted no time making it their favorite spot on campus.
From climbing features to slides and interactive platforms, the new play structure gives our youngest students a place to move, explore, and connect.
More than a facility upgrade, this playground represents our continued commitment to making Scholarship Prep Riverside a campus where Scholars thrive academically and socially.
Play matters. It strengthens friendships, builds problem-solving, and gives students a chance to reset so they can return to class ready to learn.

📚 Scholarship Prep Riverside celebrated its very first Literature Day, and it was a page turner!
The day started on the basketball courts with every grade level parading their favorite storybook characters. Staff and students then faced off in a whipped cream gummy worm challenge, with our dance instructor claiming the win! Scholars joined in with group dances, showing off moves alongside our victorious electives instructor.
Next up: the marshmallow spoon race, where students balanced marshmallows on spoons while racing across the court… drop it, and you start over! After the games, staff paraded for the Scholars, who voted on the most creative, funniest, and best costumes.
The fun didn’t stop there: our Trunk or Treat featured family-decorated cars, candy, and mini games like soccer goal kicks and ball toss challenges.
With a huge thank-you to our Trunk or Treat family volunteers and candy donors, SP Riverside’s first Literature Day was filled with laughter, games, and fun: a perfect start to a new school tradition! 💙🩵
