Cucumber beetles! Last week I had a dahlia get attacked by the spotted cucumber beetle! There were so many beetles😱Petals were being shredded and leaves were getting chewed up. I mixed up our tea concentrate at a 50/50 ratio and sprayed the plant to the point of dripping from top to bottom. I did this for about 4 days then down to a weekly maintenance at 2 cups per gallon. The dahlia is looking so much better! There is less damage, the flowers are opening and there is fresh growth. I did find a few earwigs so I’m watching to see how they react to the tea. Idk what pest control costs these days but I got these results for about 55 cents! Plus it’s feeding the plant.

I’ll be there next weekend Friday and Saturday only.
