The cool weather is finally here, and our classrooms are all about the season! We love switching out our themes every month, and incorporating the theme in each Center, as well as in our curriculum!

Thank you so much to Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue for coming to teach fire safety and emergency preparedness in a fun and preschool friendly way!
Our students had a blast trying on the official uniform, crawling through the blow up smoke house, being a team holding the giant hose and feeling how high the water pressure is, and best of all getting to take home Fire helmets, coloring books, and stickers!
Such a great program that our students are excited for every year!

Part of being a family community school means that not only do our families get to be involved in their kiddos’ educational journey, but also that our staff is one big family!
Most of the time if you run into us outside of school, we will be hanging out with our co-workers, because we genuinely love each other! We spend holidays together, go to eachothers kids’ events, and support eachother not only in work, but through everyday life!
We bring that love and family focus into the classrooms so that our students and their families become part of ours as well!

Training is a huge part of Early Childhood Education!

Our flower shop 🌸 has opened in our Pre-S dramatic center, our students are growing plants 🪴and special grass to practice cutting skills, and our caterpillars 🐛are now butterflies almost ready to fly free! 🦋

Our Story
Early Learning Preschool (ELP) is a non-profit parent cooperative organization committed to providing quality intellectually stimulating Pre-School and Kindergarten readiness programs for children ages 3 to 5. ELP's Bi-lingual Program educates through a variety of interactive experiences in a unique learning environment which advocates family involvement. Our educators introduce concepts, and encourages mastery of those concepts, by stimulating the child's natural curiosity, in hopes of creating a desire for the learning process. We believe that given age appropriate activities, children can master skills needed for their growth and development.
Curriculum incorporating storytelling, songs, small and large group participation and the self-selection process in centers to facilitate accomplishment of our (yours, & ELP's) goals. Parents are encouraged to participate in the classrooms and share in the learning experience with their child. Resources are also provided to continue the process of learning at home. We believe we can enhance the circle of learning that begins at home and continues with the school experience.
Parent Cooperative
ELP is a non-profit parent cooperative preschool which means parents are given the opportunity to participate in their child's education. Each day when your child attends school, there will be a parent helper in the classroom who will assist the teachers. Parents are always welcome in the classroom and we may ask parents with special talents to share them with the children. When you enroll your child in ELP, you are agreeing to become part of the parent co-op. The following is a list of the required and voluntary participation in the co-op:
