🌟 Blended Learning in Action at John & Olive Hinojosa Elementary!

During our 3rd Grade RLA Learning Walk, we saw Ms. Gina Rios and her Strategic Staffing team working together to bring a Bluebonnet lesson to life through blended learning!

Students rotated through collaboration, technology, and teacher-led stations, giving them different ways to engage, practice, and learn.

This is their first year implementing Blended Learning Strategic Staffing, and they’re already off to a great start! 👏📚💻

🌟 Blended Learning in Action at La Union Elementary!

During our 2nd Grade Blended Learning Walk, we saw an amazing example of teamwork! Ms. Oneida Garcia, Ms. Yuliana Garcia, and Ms. Ana Karen Lopez worked together during rotations with one goal: ensuring ALL students learn.

Through purposeful, student-centered rotations, students were collaborating, thinking critically, and receiving personalized support while reinforcing the skill of the week.

👏 Great job, La Union! This is blended learning in action! 📚💻

Goodwill Industries of South Texas is at Joe R. Sanchez Stadium TODAY until 2:00 PM collecting donations as part of their Mission Multipliers initiative.

This is a great opportunity to clean out, give back, and make a difference in our community. Even better, students can earn service hours for their donations!

If you know our C&I Department, you know we are always hard at work! But yesterday, we made time during lunch to celebrate something just as important: our people. 🎉🎂

We celebrated four special birthdays: Lillian Jones, whose birthday was yesterday, along with Sandra Amaros, Rick Solis, and Nydia Benítez, who all celebrated August birthdays! 🥳

This is what makes a great team. We work hard, support one another, and still make time to celebrate the people beside us. Because building a strong team isn’t only about the work we accomplish. It’s about the relationships we build, the moments we share, and the culture we create together. 💙

Great teams work together. Strong teams celebrate together. And the best teams do both. 🎉

Today, our middle school and high school counselors, principals, central office directors, and CTE leadership came together for the “Why CTE and CCMR Matters” training presented by Region One ESC.

The student scenarios and hands-on activities were especially valuable, giving us an opportunity to work together, look at CCMR from different perspectives, and better understand how the decisions we make can impact a student’s path to success.

A great day of learning, collaborating, and planning together for our students! 💙🎓

A huge shoutout to our RGCGISD Maintenance Department for the amazing work they are doing to get the Electrical Shop at Grulla High School ready for our students to begin their CTE/STC Dual Enrollment Electrical classes next week! 👏

Today, our Grulla High School students took an important step toward their futures by registering for CTE/STC Dual Enrollment courses, giving them the opportunity to earn college credit, develop career-ready skills, and begin preparing for life beyond high school.

A special thank you to Mrs. Agueda Garza, District CTE Counselor, and Ms. Sanjuanita Olivares, Acting Director for PLDI/CTE, for working directly with our students and helping them take advantage of this incredible opportunity.

This is why we do what we do. When we connect students with opportunities, we help them see that their future can start right here, right now. 🐊🎓
