Congratulations to the Grulla Elementary Robotics Team on an incredible performance at the 2026 VEX World Competition! 🤖🏆
It was truly the experience of a lifetime as our students represented RGCGISD with pride, honor, and remarkable dedication on the world stage.

The Stats:

• 🌎 900 teams & 52 nations
• ⏳ 3 days of intense competition
• 📈 The Result: They climbed as high as 34th and finished 54th in their division after a hard-fought battle!

The Highlight:
In every 1-minute match, our students were paired with "alliances" from China, Beijing, Hawaii, and across the USA. They proved that language is no barrier when it comes to innovation—even when they didn't speak the same language, they all spoke robotics.

Together, they strategized, overcame obstacles, and built connections that spanned the globe. 🤝✨

Our students faced every challenge with heart and are already inspired to start all over again for next season!

A massive THANK YOU to the parents and the RGCGISD community for your tremendous support of these amazing students. This experience showed us all that robotics is so much more than just a game—it is a bridge to the future. 🐊💻🚀

The "World of Difference"

It’s a happy coincidence that it’s Earth Day and Admin Day at the same time, because Joanna Peña truly means the world to this office. Joanna, thank you for being the person who keeps everything grounded and running smoothly. We’d be lost without you! 🌎

🦁 Pack your bags! We’re going on a Safari! 🌍

Thank you, Mrs. Yesenia Barrera, for sharing this amazing video with us! 🎥✨
Coming from the Dr. Mario Ramirez Elementary ADSY program, this video shows our students doing so much more than just reading about nature—they lived it! They embarked on a hands-on safari tour, exploring diverse habitats and experiencing the land, weather, and animals up close.
It is clear that these teachers are providing an "out of this world" opportunity for our kids. While textbooks are important, nothing beats the magic of experiential learning. 🎒🐾
