Mrs. Rodriguez’s Kindergarten class had a wonderful hands-on lesson learning about the Bean Plant Cycle and the Chili Pepper Cycle!

Through this engaging experience, our students had the opportunity to observe, explore, and appreciate the amazing process of growth that God has created. What a beautiful way to connect learning with faith and wonder! 💚🙏

We are so proud of our little learners and their enthusiasm for discovering the world around them!

The Traveling Cross – A Call to Vocations

At ICS, we are blessed to promote a culture of vocations in our Catholic school community.

The Traveling Cross, through the Vocations Office, encourages our students, teachers, families, and community to pray intentionally for vocations and to listen with open hearts for God’s call.

Our prayer guide includes age-appropriate prayers and activities for:

Part I: Grades K–2

Part II: Grades 3–6

The Traveling Cross will be placed weekly in the classroom beginning with PK3.
Through this program, we hope our students grow as faithful Catholics, deepen their relationship with God, and learn to recognize His call with openness and generosity.

Let us pray together for vocations and for the courage to say “yes” to God’s plan.

Mrs. Gonzalez & Miss Rodriguez PK3 and Mrs. Landez PK4 students attended the 911 ceremony honoring the fallen heroes that lost their lives 25 years ago. We had the pleasure to have the Sheriff, Police, and Fire departments attend this special event. God is Good.

Twenty-five years ago the world unexpectedly changed. Today our ICS family gathered for a special ceremony to honor and remember the heroes and innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We were deeply honored to have the RGC Fire Department, Starr County Sheriff’s Department, and RGC Police Department join us as we paid tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today, we remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the lasting legacy they left behind. We also give heartfelt thanks to all those who continue to serve and protect our communities.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Congratulations ICS First and Second Graders. God is Good!!

Our ICS 1st and 2nd grade students were excited to receive their planners for daily use at school! These planners are filled with helpful information that students can refer to throughout the school year while learning and staying organized with their teachers.

We are also blessed that all ICS students in 1st through 8th grade have received planners to support their daily learning and organization.

We are very fortunate and grateful for this wonderful resource for our students. God is Good!
