The 2026-2027 school year is a month away!🎉

We are excited to welcome our new and returning students back to campus. We'll begin welcoming new students during our New Student Orientation starting August 13th. ☀️👋

Returning students move back into the dorms on August 17th, during our Welcome and Registration Day for all students. Make sure you email the Student Office in advance for transportation 🚎

What a wonderful weekend at Southwestern Academy in San Marino, California.

Our community event brought together neighbors, friends, alumni, families, and Southwestern staff for an afternoon filled with connection, conversation, and community spirit. Guests enjoyed homemade baked goods, shared stories, and gathered over cups of custom crafted coffee.

A special thank you to our alumnus, Antonio Chen, for generously donating and serving his custom-crafted, delicious coffee throughout the event. Your contribution helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who attended. ☕️

We are also excited to celebrate Antonio’s newest venture, Louis Coffee, which is currently in its soft opening phase in West Hollywood. Be sure to follow .la and show your support!

Today we celebrated the Southwestern Academy Class of 2026!!!
Friends and family traveled from all over the world to honor this special day, beginning with Baccalaureate, followed by the senior plaque reveal, and culminating in a beautiful commencement ceremony filled with pride, reflection, and excitement for the future.
Our 17 graduates are now heading off to colleges and universities across the globe, ready to begin their next chapter and make their mark on the world.
Congratulations to the Southwestern Academy Class of 2026! We are so proud of each and every one of you and cannot wait to see where life takes you next. “Once a Sun, Always a Sun!”

2025-26 SPORTS AWARD BANQUET HIGHLIGHTS. Southwestern Academy athletics held their annual celebration of all things sports, at the awards banquet last week. This year 75% of Southwestern student took part in at least one of our seven C.I.F. Team sports.
The night is a thank you to all the athletes from their coaches for all the hard work put in throughout the year. Awards are handed out to MVP’s, Most Improved, Rookies of the Year, League All-Star recognition, championship trophies and the Athlete of the Year, whose name is forever etched into the history of Southwestern.
This year our Athlete of the Year is Miguel Albelda-Piera Rodriguez from Alicante, Spain.
Miguel played soccer, basketball and volleyball this year earning all-league awards in soccer and volleyball along with Offensive Player of the Year in soccer, Rookie of the Year for basketball and Team MVP in volleyball.
Two new championships will also be hung in Washington Gym as Girls Basketball won their 2nd straight International League Championship and Boys Volkeyball will hang up their 15th league championship this season

The end of the 25-26 school year may be rapidly approaching, but our students are still out working hard and giving back to the community. This weekend Southwestern students helped sort thousands of pounds of produce at both and . We thank both these organizations for hosting us and look forwards to volunteering our time again.
