Excited and energized from this year’s results and those big wins that are just around the corner:
Supported a third grader’s climb to achieving on grade level reading and writing.
Supported a high school student’s complete turnaround from almost failing geometry to scoring a 93 on her final.
Supported a fifth grader’s (with learning disabilities) climb towards achieving on grade level reading and math skills.
Working with a high schooler right now on SAT prep. Can’t wait to see her math score improve as she uncovers the concepts she had not yet mastered.
Working with a third grader on improving reading and math skills while identifying strategies to keep him engaged and focused in school. The struggles are real and challenging, but I believe in him. He has started asking my questions that demonstrate he is trying to connect new information to what he already knows. This is a huge breakthrough for him.
Grateful for the parents that trust me with their children. Falling behind, especially at an early age, can lead to years of frustration and disinterest in education, and a low self-esteem. Summer slide is real and dangerous for a child who is already struggling.
Tutoring is an investment in your child’s education. It is one-on-one targeted instruction that addresses the needs of the individual. The parents I serve aren’t wealthy. They are making a choice, and often a sacrifice, to invest in their children, and I’m happy to see it paying off. Sometimes progress takes time. Find someone qualified, stay the course, make the sacrifice if you can, and trust the process. The payoff is priceless!
