We have been a bit silent on social, but we are continuing to work hard behind the scenes to make Carry On Reusables a quality product and a relevant brand. Carrying reusable products will be non negotiable in a future with limited resources. We believe that we can help people make this shift by making a zero waste kit that will have all the products you need to say no to single use plastics. We have recently connected with a local sewist who is making a professional bag pattern for us so that we are ready to outsource our bag construction and scale up our business when we are ready. Another step toward getting our product in the hands of more people.

This is a vision board we made last year to bring together all the important things that propel Carry On Reusables to do what we do. Respect for wild places, wild life, and future generations is what inspires us to do better when it comes to environmental sustainability.

We are doubling down on our mission to reduce single use plastic and to empower others to join in this effort. This global pandemic we are living through has caused a set back in the environmental sustainability movement by mandating take out only from restaurants and not permitting refills in reusable products. Let’s all make it our mission to make up for the millions of pounds of single use waste created in 2020.
Here are a few action items:
1. Talk to your local and regional government officials about setting in place regulations reducing single use plastic waste.
2. Start a plastic film recycling program in your community. (See Trex Recycling programs to get started)
3. Carry reusable products and encourage local businesses to start accepting refillable cups and just say NO to single use straws and utensils.
