"Returning to Luther Branson Elementary as principal is a full-circle moment for me," said Dr. Green. "Having first served here as a teacher, I know firsthand what makes this school such a special place. LBE is a treasure, and I am deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve our students, families, staff, and community. I look forward to collaborating with all of you as we continue to support, inspire, and empower every child to reach his or her full potential. This week, a group of principals and district office leaders attended the Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals Summer Conference! The event focused on Building Relationships, Shaping Teams, and Defining Culture - three important aspects of successful school leadership.
This group is returning with new ideas, knowledge, and inspiration to help prepare for another excellent year across Madison County Schools!

This excellent group of administrators from across the district attended the Mississippi Principal Institute at Mississippi College this week. We are excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Harvey Williams Jr. as the new lead principal of Ann Smith Elementary School! Mr. Williams came to Madison County in 2014 as the Assistant Principal at Ann Smith where he served for four years. He then transitioned to Madison Station Elementary where he has served as Assistant Principal for the past eight years.
"I am honored to serve as the next Lead Principal of Ann Smith Elementary School." said Mr. Williams. "It is a privilege to return to a school community that holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to working alongside our students, staff, families, and community as we work together to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential."
