Today North Union Boys Bowling competed in the OHSAA Central District D2 District tournament for the first time since 2018 as a team. The day started off well and got better as the day went on. We finished in 6th place which is one better than the highest place the NU Boys have ever done at the District tournament. On top of that we broke the old school record at this tournament with a 3696 total, old record was 3687.

Both Seniors today finished off the last baker with closed frames!!!

Today the North Union Boys Varsity team competed in the OHSAA Central District D2 Sectional Tournament. The day started off a little slow but as the day moved along the team got in a groove, qualifying for Districts next Tuesday. The boys also bowl 50 pins better than we did at the D2 Preview tournament earlier this year.

Today the North Union Girls Varsity team competed in the OHSAA Central District D2 Sectional Tournament. It was a long day with a little crying, but we got through it. Unfortunately we didn't advance to Districts but the girls seemed to have fun and were in good spirits at the end. The girls did bowl 83 pins better than at the D2 Preview earlier in the season.

Tonight North Union traveled to Bethel High School. This is the first matchup between our two schools. This was our last match of the year before we head into Sectionals.

The boys team won, it came down to the last few balls in bakers tonight. The girls team finally made it over the 1700 score tonight that they have been so close to beating the last few matches. This was a good team night to end the regular season.

Tonight we traveled to Graham for our last Mad River division match, we have 2 Kenton Trails matches left. All 3 teams bowled well tonight even though the outcomes were not what we hoped for. As I look at the scores from tonight, I see the improvement from day 1 earlier this year.

Tonight we traveled to TP Lanes to battle Indian lake. We might have lost both matches today but both teams were up on our scores. The girls team rolled their best total score all year tonight. The boys team got back on track and got their scores way up over the last few weeks.

Yesterday the North Union Bowling teams participated in the Worthington Christian Warrior D2 preview at HP lanes. Lanes were tough at the beginning and took them a little time to figure it out. This is a good tournament for us because it used the Sectionals pattern we will see at the end of the year in the same house we will bowl in.
