Got to try Kentucky Signature Coffee today and it was really good! I got a honey cinnamon latte with oat milk and the Ethiopian coffee plus a strawberry pastry (the strawberry filling was SO good, tasted just like a good homemade jam 😍) The staff were super kind. I thought the menu was super impressive it’s going to take a WHILE before I can try everything I want to. (Like hello GELATO ????)

I'm a piano major at Eastern Kentucky University, specializing in music theory and composition. I've been playing piano since I was a child, and found a love for teaching when I started my private studio.

I have experience teaching students of all ages, including students on the autism spectrum and those with other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Hi all! I’m a piano teacher in Richmond, for piano teachers we usually refer to this time as the “summer slowdown” but the good news for you is that means I have a lot more free slots in my schedule than usual! I offer in person and virtual lessons, so no matter where you are piano lessons can be accessible!

We also have our first recital coming up in a few weeks (the event is on my profile) and it’s free and open to public! I’m so proud of my students and how far they’ve come and it would be a great opportunity to see the benefits of joining the calico cat piano studio.

I’ve played piano since I was a child and am currently a piano major at EKU specializing in music theory and composition. Although I didn’t pursue an ED degree I very quickly learned teaching is a huge passion of mine and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! I have experience with students of all ages as well as students on the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. The calico cat piano studio is to be a place where everyone can learn music! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷

Lesson costs

Half hour - 20$
Hour - 30$
20% for more than 1 month of lessons prepaid

Although book costs and any exam costs if that’s something the student wants to do are the responsibility of the student, I do find and accept donated unused or used piano books to give to students whom book costs may be an issue for. Please reach out to me if that is the case! Also if you have any books you’d like to donate feel free to reach out, it helps a lot!
