On Friday Westhampton had a visit from the Valentine Museum of Virginia. Jennifer taught us about amazing women through history, she even shared about women that did amazing things right here in Virginia!

Last week I ran into Ms. Brittany and her friends as they were headed out to the green space to take a picture for weather week. I decided to follow them out there to take a picture myself and enjoy the sunshine. I discovered that they weren't the only friends outside in the name of Weather week, Ms. Jeanne's crew played on the other side discovering the effects of wind and shade and shadows. I'm just glad I didn't miss all the fun! ☀️☂🍃🐳

Last week some of our amazing after schoolers dropped off donations to Goochland Cares food pantry! They even stuck around for a little while and volunteered their time while they were there. Thanks to our amazing WDS community we were able to donate 236 lbs of household items! Thank you to everyone!❤️🐳

We wrapped up our Spirit Week by shining bright, showing school spirit, and sharing donuts with our Dads. I think that's a pretty perfect end to a pretty awesome week!🐳❤🍩

Our Westhampton Whales have amazing school spirit! Our Tuesday and Wednesday halls were filled with little athletes and story book characters! So much fun! ❤🐳⚽🏀📖

Last week our 2s classes had their magical in house field trip. Each and every child was captivated and delighted with the Amazing Mr. B's magic act. What a fun morning filled with amazement, wonder and adorable little giggles. 🎩✨🐳
