Join VA21 in our support of the budget proposed by the VA House. This proposed budget includes an additional $44.5 million in funds to financial aid that will help more than 17,000 Virginians afford an education after high school. We're asking our elected officials to pick a side. Not the side of democrats or republicans, not the house or the senate, but we are asking both chambers and both parties to when they decide on a final budget! Share this with your representatives to make sure they know we are watching them and we want them to PRIORITIZE STUDENTS!

Two weeks ago JMU Virginia21 traveled to Richmond to lobby for bills pertaining to student debt relief and student privacy as well as budget amendments concerning financial aid! Thank you for allowing us to represent you in our state’s general assembly! Check out a few of our highlights including meeting Governor Ralph Northam and presenting him with our fall campaign cards. We also met with Attorney General Mark Herring, Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax and our Harrisonburg Senator Obenshain and Delegate Wilt.
