Summer started on the right note 🎶

Thank you to everyone who came out to Summer Notes and helped make the evening so special for our students, families, and community.

Over the past few weeks, our students at Star Seeds Learning Hub got an inside look at how the music they listen to every day is actually made 🎶💻

We recently wrapped up our Music Technology classes with Star Seeds Learning Hub where students explored how modern music is built using Bandlab Classroom and digital music production tools.

Throughout the program, students learned how to build original tracks from scratch while exploring drum programming, MIDI sequencing, melody building, song structure, audio effects, and recording techniques. Each class also included group listening sessions where students broke down the music they already know and love to better understand what’s happening behind the scenes of a song. By the end of the program, students created and shared original music of their own.

The students had the chance to meet, rehearse, and spend time with Høly River ahead of Summer Notes this Sunday at It’s been really special watching them prepare for this performance together.
