Fused Glass - a study in color, texture, and craft. 🎨🔨✨

I hand-pick glass cabochons you can use in metal clay and metalsmithing projects. 9 styles to choose from. Each piece adds bold color and tactile texture to your work.

I teach metalsmithing and keep a curated selection of tools and materials for makers. Browse the collection: https://wix.to/rk6OuIU

Loose glass fragments scattered on the worktable in the morning. A finished black and white pendant by afternoon. Same studio, same hands. ✨

Here is something that surprises a lot of people who visit the studio: fused glass shrinks and settles by roughly 10 to 15% inside the kiln. That is why the raw layers I cut always look a little bigger than the finished piece you end up wearing. The heat does the last bit of shaping for me, and I never get tired of opening the kiln to see how it landed.

If you are wondering how to wear a piece like this, it loves a simple scoop or V-neck in a matte fabric like linen or a fine knit. The clean neckline lets the black and white contrast do the talking. Stand near a window in soft natural light and you will see the depth layered inside the glass come alive.

Want one for yourself? You can shop the Black and White Fused Glass Pendant through the link in my bio.

Or better yet, come join a fused glass workshop and pull your very own piece straight from the kiln. There is nothing quite like wearing something you made with your own hands.
