Want to attract top talent? Start with what matters most.

According to NACE's 2026 Student Survey, the Class of 2026 is prioritizing more than just a competitive salary. When evaluating employers, graduates are looking for:

🚀 Career growth and advancement
🩺 Strong benefits
🔒 Job security
🤝 Friendly coworkers
💰 Competitive pay

For employers, the message is clear: investing in employee development, financial well-being, and a supportive workplace culture is key to attracting and retaining the next generation of talent.

Investing in internships is investing in long-term talent.

The NACE Internship & Co-op Report highlights the lasting impact of internship programs on employee retention. More than three-quarters of employees who interned with their employer are retained after one year, and more than half remain after five years, substantially higher than retention rates for employees with no internship experience.

These findings reinforce the value of internships in building stronger talent pipelines and supporting long-term workforce success.
