Don’t be so caught up in the end result that you miss the gains…

Check that inner dialogue & make sure you take time to highlight where you started.

Not an excuse to lose your hunger but some fuel to keep you showing up…

Today the clock beat me, but ya girl is getting closer & stronger.

Be proud of yourself before the accomplishment, be proud of yourself for what people can’t see YET 😉

I had plans for today but God said unh unh I need you to uproot this fear…

For the moments where we compare ourselves to a previous version of ourselves.

For the moments we question our capabilities.

Lean in to understand what that feeling is rooted in… I found myself last night frustrated anticipating the closing of schools. I knew what I planned to accomplish was ☠️

The prob isn’t in having that thought the problem is in what I MAKE that thought mean…

Fear, comparison and scarcity mentality tell me that I’ll never be able to manage being a MoM &, that I’m behind - I should be better prepared, what the hell was I thinking, this isn’t possible 🥴

I hear those thoughts but Its a choice to accept them, I recognize they may always be there taunting asking me to play victim. These voices are present for everyone at every level it’s a matter of how you manage it, how much power you give it.

So today,
I will tame those thoughts 🖕🏽

And what I don’t get done I won’t maKe that mean anything but get after it again tomorrow.

I will trust that what God has for me is for me, what I need to learn along the way will be learned & rest/slower days will not make or break me. 🕊🌱💫

It would be easy to stay in whatever your current reality/behavior is, it’s actually harder to walk away/🌱. Fear of the unknown starts setting in, past traumas come pounding at the 🚪, insecurities you thought you overcame reveal themselves again…

Choose the area of discomfort & sometimes that looks like…

🌱Having hard conversations

🌱Choosing self discovery

🌱Speaking your truth
🌱Walking away from job…relationship

I’ve had this necklace since high school…
It serves as a reminder of a promise I made myself…

I paced back & forth around this stand in philly, we were there for penn relays 🏃🏽‍♀️

I was good for not eating to save 💵
But I questioned if this was a responsible purchase…I repeatedly stated I do not need this…

But I wanted it, I wanted the luxury of purchasing something simply because I wanted it and not fear that my purchase would leave me broke, busted & disgusted.
It was deeper than the necklace, it was a desire for financial freedom, a diff life not just for me but for my fam, my future fam…

$10, a $10 purchase had a grip on me…

I bought it as a statement, that one day this wouldn’t be my reality…

And it isn’t!
but I’m not done & I’m taking you with me

Yesterday I launched my first group coaching program, one of the members was there with me as I grappled with this purchase in high school.

Now I get to help her see possibility, gain clarity, reclaim her self-identity, strip what isn’t serving her & focus on HER path…

I get to witness one hell of a transformation 🐛🦋

🌱Check what your consuming, is it inspiring you, promoting growth/healing or shrinking you?

🌱Who you talking to? Who are you spending time with? What’s the context of your conversations? Are you showing up as you or pieces of you?

🌱How’s your energy? Are you pouring into yourself or depleting your stores? Do you have open space on your calendar? You will never have clarity on what YOU want if you don’t spend time with yourself (thoughts, feelings included)

🌱Create a vision from the insight you gain

🌱CREATE the environment you need to POSITION yourself

🌱Commit to action, even when it’s scary

Unfulfilled, Not at peace, wanting more, tired of being tired, work-life balance a beast

You are responsible for that, that’s your work

Need direction - some🔥, need to stay focused, gain clarity, see yourself, accountability, overcome fear, shift your mindset, grow through this process…
