My name is Andrea Simmons, and it's my pleasure to be joining the Lakeside Elementary community! My 11 years of experience as an educator spans roles as a classroom teacher, math specialist, and testing coordinator, and I'm excited to share that expertise. Before I began my career in education, I gained valuable experience as a senior mortgage loan closer. My greatest passion is fostering student growth by collaborating with other dedicated educators, and I truly enjoy working alongside teachers to ensure every student thrives.

Outside of work, my life centers around my husband, three children, and our two dogs. While much of my teaching career has focused on mathematics, I also have a deep interest in exploring music, art, and history. I'm a strong believer in being a lifelong learner and am always eager to discover new things. Recently, I've enjoyed visiting the pandas at the National Zoo in D.C. and exploring Harpers Ferry, WV.

I'm truly excited to connect with everyone, discover what makes Lakeside special, and collaborate with my new colleagues to put our students' success first.

My name is Jazmine Miller-Ralls, and I am thrilled to be joining the Lakeside Leopards as an Exceptional Education teacher! This upcoming school year marks my ninth year in education, including five wonderful years in Henrico County. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and seeking out new adventures. Hi! My name is Phoebe Lake and I can’t wait to join the Lakeside family as a second grade teacher! I went to Virginia Tech undergrad where I studied Childhood Pre-Education and then just recently graduated from the Master in Teaching program at the University of Richmond. Go Hokies and Spiders!
