Founded by Gárman Lord in 1976, Théodish Belief is a renewal of the manygodded heathen belief of our Anglo-Saxon ancestors.

The Wínland Ríce (often called the Théodish Ríce) currently has halls in North America, England, and Australia.

Year-Reckoning: The 2026-2027 Anglo-Saxon Heathen Calendar for Súþerne Middangeard (Southern Hemisphere Edition) by Eþelwynn Hlæfdiȝe.

The 2026/2027 Anglo-Saxon Heathen wall calendar for the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) reckons the Anglo-Saxon lunisolar year and months according to how they fall in that part of the earth, where Módraniht, the eve of the Winter Solstice and beginning of the Anglo-Saxon Heathen year, is held in June rather than December.

Take note: This calendar begins in June of 2026 and ends in June of 2027.

By the Sun, the Stars and the Moon: A Handbook of Anglo-Saxon Time Keeping offers the reader an overview of how our Anglo-Saxon Heathen forebears kept time before Christianity introduced the Roman Julian and Gregorian calendars. Found within its pages are reference charts for the times of the day, the phases of the moon, and the months and seasons of the year. Included as well is a 19-year (Metonic cycle) almanac for the Anglo-Saxon Heathen lunisolar year which Théodsmen have carefully reconstructed from Bede’s “De mensibus Anglorum” Moreover, this “Revised Getælcircul & Expanded Middangeard Edition” contains charts and material for both the northern and southern hemispheres.
