Renewal delays pushing DACA recipients out of status. Traffic stops that end in death. Court rulings that lead to mass delegalization. We cannot allow Congress to normalize any of this.

A discharge petition to force a vote on the Dream & Promise Act has been introduced in the House and we need to make it clear to our Representatives that citizenship is the only solution.

Join us at our Dream and Promise Act Urgent Field Call TOMORROW Tuesday July 21st at 7pm EST to get all your questions answered and learn how we’re keeping the pressure on all summer.

🚨 BREAKING

ICE has reportedly temporarily paused most vehicle stops nationwide following two fatal agent-involved shootings over the past week. According to multiple news outlets, the agency is expected to provide additional training on vehicle stop tactics and de-escalation before resuming most of these operations. (Forbes)

What this means:
• This is being reported as a temporary operational change, not a halt to all ICE enforcement activities.
• ICE may continue to conduct arrests and other enforcement actions using different methods.
• Community members should continue to know their rights and remain prepared.

The Tri-Cities Immigrant Coalition will continue monitoring this developing situation and will share updates as additional information becomes available.

When immigration enforcement actions occur, the impact reaches far beyond one individual. Families, children, schools, employers, faith communities, and service providers all feel the ripple effects. From legal and financial challenges to communication barriers and digital equity issues, it takes a coordinated community response to ensure families have the support they need.

That’s why The People’s Coalition meets.

The People’s Coalition brings together organizations, community leaders, advocates, and volunteers to strengthen raid preparedness and coordinated response efforts across Benton and Franklin Counties.

This work is co-led by our Executive Director, Sonee, from Tri-Cities Immigrant Coalition, and Odalys from UFCW 3000, in partnership with extraordinary leaders and change-makers from other local organizations committed to protecting and supporting our community.

If this work speaks to you, we invite you to join us. We are always looking for volunteers and community partners who want to help build a more connected and resilient community.

Together, we can ensure our neighbors are not facing a crisis alone.
