General information
WHAT IS ANOMALY?
We are seeking to form a community that connects our generation to God by encountering his presence as a worshipping body. We believe God is ready to outpour his Spirit heavily in the Tri-Cities, and it is time ro raise up oung people who are mature in the ways of God and intimately pursuing him. It is in this environment of encountering God that we can learn how to love and live with eachother.
One of our main focuses is on the arts - doing things creatively and excellently. ln all communication, whether teaching, praying, worshipping, prophesying, or more, we will value the importance of creativity, craftmanship, and artistic expression. More importantly, we want to foster the various gifts God has given young people to build one another up and love the hurting, broken, abused, and poor.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our intent is to focus our efforts toward people 30 and younger, though we won’t turn anyone away. This isn’t a “youth group” - from young teenagers to college students to young parents and married couples, we are a diverse group of people with various backgrounds and maturity levels - but we all want to know Jesus and become like him. For some, this will be their church “home”. For others, it might be a time of worshipping with local Christians from different churches. Overall, it will be both an outreach to the community and a younger expression of the the people at The Bridge -Richland.
WHO CAN HELP?
We are currently seeking a group of people who will help make this happen. Not an event. Not a thing. “THIS” is a community of radical God-followers who are trying to learn how to love. We are aren’t trying to be the “next big thing” and numbers aren’t our measuring stick. If you don’t currently have a church home we would LOVE to have you come to our meetings over the next two months. If you are a part of a church body, we ask that you get your pastor/youth pastor’s OK to come and help us - we want to honor your relationship to your church and leadership.
WHO IS LEADING?
We have a leadership team made up of a mixture of young adults and the current leadership from The Bridge Richland. Ultimately the Senior leader of the church is the overseer of this ministry. There are numerous leadership and ministry roles for others to serve in - we need many more to particpate in the various teams to make this community a healthy functioning group that is equipped to serve wherever need is. We are not about a one manshow!
OUR DESIRE IS TO COLABORATE IN TEAMS, SO THAT THE UNITY WE ENJOY BRINGS THEBLESSINGS GOD PROMISES!
