Tammy Faulkner: There are 3 primary American Cancer Society "events" in the Tri-Cities: The Columbia River Relay For Life, The Franklin County Relay For Life, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Teams and sponsors in turn do multiple fundraising events in support of one of these. The Bark For Life happens to be my pet fundraiser for the Columbia River Relay For Life. I also support and do fundraising for Making Strides. If you have any ideas or suggestions for other pet oriented fundraisers...do contact me. I would love to participate. Anything that support the fight against cancer and can also benefit or give appreciation to our pets....I'm all for it. Thanks for the question.

More pics of our Bark participants. Many thanks to our sponsors and volunteers. Tri-City Cancer Center, Pet Partner Therapy Dogs, BlyLee’s Natural Pet Food & Supply, Dave Kasper (Photographer extraordinaire), Pet Smart for a super bag of dog treats, Humane Society for sharing some lovely adoptable dogs, Qdoba Mexican Restaurant for the snacks, and Ted Brown Music for the sound system. We couldn't have done it without all the help from the volunteers that showed up, setup, helped out, and then took it all down. THANK YOU ALL!!

We do have Bark For LIfe T-shirts still available if you got home and wished you had bought one at the time. Contact me and we'll work out the where/when. We have 4-small; 4-medium; 10-large; 11-XL; and 8-2X. They are $15 and your best friend gets a Bark Kerchief.
