Back to School! GLMS Family Update - Volume 1 | August 1, 2026 -

We’re excited to share that our school district is transitioning to a new student information system, Skyward, for the upcoming school year. Skyward will replace Synergy, ParentVUE, and StudentVUE as our platform for accessing student and family information.

Reminder! A sport physical is required to participate in GLMS sports.

Fall sports are quickly approaching! Make sure your student is all set to participate.
Still need a sports physical? Doctors from the Bronson Richland office will be on site at Gull Lake High School on Tuesday, August 4, 3-6 pm to conduct physicals for all students!

Both 7th and 8th grade bands earned straight Division I ratings (grade of an A) at the MSBOA District 11 Band Festival on March 12 at Marshall High School. The 7th-grade band earned A's (14) and A+'s (6) from the concert and sight-reading judges. The 8th-grade band earned straight A+'s (15 of them) from all three concert judges in all five categories of tone, intonation, rhythm, technique, and interpretation, and straight A's (5) from their sight-reading judge, where they had five minutes to sing through a piece and then play it for a grade! Both groups represented GLMS with great professionalism and pride! We are very proud of their amazing musical performances!
