Field day is tomorrow!! Please send your student with a labeled water bottle, a towel, and a change of clothes. Also make sure your student is wearing comfortable clothing that they don’t mind getting wet/dirty.
We’re so excited to have your help for field day!
Here is important information!
PARKING
*Please arrive early (by 8:20am) and park in the first lot off of Taylor Rd. (to the left when you arrive). The other lots will be used for field day. AFTERNOON ONLY Volunteers please park in that same lot and check in around noon! 🙂
CHECKING IN
*Please go to the cafeteria and check in with Ms. Calloway. She will have you sign in and will direct you to your assigned station.
FOOD
*Pizza will be available at the break for staff and volunteers. Please bring snacks and water that you will need for the day.

Slate Ridge 4th and 5th graders put on a fantastic Science Fair this past Thursday. It was wonderful to see their hard work on display!

🚨 Community Support Needed for a Student & Family After House Fire 🚨
Our school community is coming together to support one of our students and their family after they experienced a devastating house fire and lost everything in the home. At this time, they are working to relocate and rebuild while navigating an incredibly difficult situation.
We are currently collecting donations of the following urgent need items:
🧺 Immediate Needs
• Clothing (10/12 Girl, 14 boy, Medium/ Large Women)
• Hygiene and personal care items (shampoo & conditioner for curly/ kinky hair, lotions, body wash)
• A couple of rolling suitcases/storage luggage to help transport and organize belongings while relocating
💳 Gift Card Donations Greatly Appreciated
To help with daily necessities, meals, transportation, and rebuilding efforts, we are also accepting:

Miss Gerdes’ first grade class spent outdoor learning day creating art with nature. Students used sticks, grass, flowers, and mulch to paint.

Our annual International Festival was a success! We had a blast exploring new countries, filling out our passports, eating yummy food and enjoying a musical performance lead by Ms. Singnysane! Thank you to all of the staff, students, and families that helped to make this event so spectacular!
